Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business or related field preferred.
• Experience in mortgage loan processing, closing, or post-closing preferred.
• Strong understanding of mortgage loan documents and compliance requirements.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and loan origination software (LOS).
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Review loan documents post-closing to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Review closing packages to ensure all signatures, dates, and notarizations are executed.
• Review Title to confirm the accuracy of the executed documents and signatories; verify legal descriptions match the chain of title.
• Obtain corrections/revisions from the appropriate party on documents with errors.
• Provide the lender with documents required to obtain funding approval.
• Organize the closing documents and include any additional documents to be sent back to the lender.
• Confirm the shipping address and prepare shipping labels (UPS/FedEx).
• Respond to agents, lenders, borrowers or sellers with requested information and provide exceptional customer service.
