D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking an Escrow Officer for our Financial Service Title - Escrow Department in the United States. The role focuses on timely completion of real estate closings (escrow), with an annual salary of $75,000 to $85,000.

The candidate will handle escrow operations, prepare instructions, balance accounts, and supervise/assist other escrow staff while maintaining compliance with company policies and government regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Notary and title industry knowledge preferred.
• Organize and prioritize tasks; read, understand, and carry out verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential closings (escrow) with customers.
• Prepare escrow instructions and amendments as applicable.
• Deposit escrow funds, prepare disbursements and balance escrow accounts.
• Train Escrow Technicians and Assistant Escrow Officers.
• Solicit escrow and title business from Realtors, lenders, builders, sellers and buyers.
• Establish relationships to promote goodwill and future business.
