Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking an Escrow Officer for its Financial Service Title - Escrow Department.

The role involves timely completion of real estate closings (escrow) under the direction of the Branch Manager. The candidate will handle tasks across escrow reception, escrow technician, and assistant escrow officer roles, deposit funds, balance accounts, and support senior staff while building relationships with lenders, Realtors and buyers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4–6 years related experience.
• Notary required.
• Knowledge of basic telephone etiquette and professional communication.
• Familiarity with real estate/escrow/title terminology and basic accounting/bookkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential escrow closings (resale, refinance, builder) as directed by Branch Manager.
• Prepare escrow instructions and amendments as needed.
• Deposit escrow funds, prepare disbursements, and balance escrow accounts.
• Maintain general office functions and assist Escrow Officers.
• Solicit escrow and title business from Realtors, lenders, builders, and buyers.
