Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking an Escrow Officer to manage real estate closings and escrow transactions in our mortgage/title services group.

The role focuses on timely execution of residential closings, deposits, disbursements and balance reconciliation with guidance from the Branch Manager. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and experience in escrow or title operations, notary knowledge, and strong communication skills to build relationships with Realtors and lenders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university, or four to six years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Notary required; knowledge of real estate transactions and title processes preferred.
• Strong grammar, spelling, and punctuation; ability to organize and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and complete residential closings (escrow) accurately and timely.
• Prepare escrow instructions, deposits, disbursements and balance escrow accounts.
• Support and train Escrow Technicians and Assistant Escrow Officers as needed.
• Develop relationships with Realtors, lenders, builders, sellers and buyers to promote escrow and title business.
• Conduct closings with customers and ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.
