Qualifications

  • Prior experience as an Escrow Officer or in a comparable title-company or real estate law-firm role
  • Strong knowledge of title commitments, settlement statements, closing documents, payoffs, funding, and disbursement procedures
  • Experience handling traditional purchases, refinances, and investor-friendly transactions
  • Ability to identify title requirements and coordinate curative matters with the appropriate parties
  • Proficiency with title and escrow software, Microsoft Office, and general file-management systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer-service and relationship-building abilities
  • Exceptional accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple files, deadlines, and priorities with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work full time and consistently on-site in Sunnyvale, Texas
  • An established book of business is strongly preferred
  • An active Texas Escrow Officer license is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Managing and coordinating title and escrow files from opening through funding and disbursement
  • Preparing and reviewing settlement statements, closing disclosures, deeds, affidavits, and other closing documents
  • Reviewing title commitments, surveys, tax information, payoff statements, and supporting documentation
  • Identifying and assisting with the resolution of title and escrow issues
  • Balancing files with lenders and ensuring all funds are received, verified, and properly disbursed
  • Coordinating in-office, mobile, and remote signings
  • Providing timely status updates to buyers, sellers, agents, investors, lenders, and other parties
  • Maintaining accurate and complete file documentation
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and referral partners
  • Supporting business-development and networking efforts within the local real estate community

Role Description

Mutual Title LLC is seeking an experienced, relationship-driven Escrow Officer to join our growing team. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Sunnyvale, Texas.

The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in both traditional and investor-friendly transactions, including assignments, novations, seller-financing, wraps, subject-to transactions, and other creative real estate structures. Candidates with an established book of business and strong relationships within the real estate or investor community are highly encouraged to apply.

The Escrow Officer will manage real estate transactions from opening through closing and funding while ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, company procedures, and applicable regulations.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Managing and coordinating title and escrow files from opening through funding and disbursement
