D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking an Escrow Assistant in Florida to support the Financial Services Escrow Branch. The role involves preparing escrow files, issuing letters, ordering title commitments, processing payoffs, and coordinating closings with lenders and customers.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree (or equivalent) and 6 months to 1 year of related experience, with strong organizational and customer service skills. Fortune 500 employer with solid benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• Six months to one year related experience and/or training.
• Strong organizational and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and send opening letters and acknowledgements to all parties.
• Order title commitments and distribute to all parties.
• Prepare receipts for all funds received from customers and/or lenders.
• Order wire transfers and provide wiring instructions.
• Prepare loan packages for return to lender and close file.
• Assist branch manager with administrative tasks and post-closing duties as needed.
