Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking an Escrow Assistant to support the Financial Services Escrow Branch in Florida. The role focuses on timely preparation of escrow files, ordering information for closings, and coordinating with lenders and parties involved in transactions.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate degree or related experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently in a fast-paced real estate environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and send opening letters and acknowledgements to all parties.
• Order title commitments and distribute to all parties.
• Order payoff/assumption statements as requested and update records.
• Prepare receipts for funds and arrange wire transfers as needed.
• Assist Branch Manager with administrative tasks and keep orderly records.
• Keep customers and real estate agents informed about file status.
