Job summary

Old Republic Title in Koloa, Hawaii, is seeking an Escrow Assistant to support refinance and sale transactions from 8am to 5pm in our Koloa office. Remote applicants will not be considered.

You will review preliminary reports and title commitments, clear title requirements, pull tax rolls, assemble signing documents, and upload files to our electronic filing system while maintaining meticulous records. One year escrow/real estate experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication, business appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Verify and review information in preliminary reports and title commitments; clear title requirements by researching discrepancies and obtaining lien releases.
• Pull tax rolls and review for accuracy and potential assessments/liens.
• Assemble signing documents for in-office and off-site signings; schedule appointments.
• Upload documents to electronic filing system and document all conversations per file.
• Prepare funding packages and provide conditions; fund disbursements as needed.
