Job summary

Old Republic Title in Hawaii is seeking an Escrow Assistant to support real estate transactions from the Koloa office. You will open, process, and close refinance and sale transactions under guidance, communicating with lenders, principals, and realtors to keep all parties informed and aligned.

One year of escrow or real estate experience is preferred. The role requires attention to detail, independence, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Verifies and reviews information in the preliminary report/title commitment while clearing title requirements.
• Pull tax rolls from assessor and review for accuracy and liens.
• Assist in quoting our fees and charges.
• Request/authorize loans to fund and disburse funds including payoffs.
• Schedule appointments and assemble documents for signing inside and outside the office.
