Job summary

First American in San Antonio is seeking an Escrow Assistant to support our escrow team in a fast-paced environment. You will handle opening orders, document preparation, disbursements, and follow-up to help make home ownership dreams a reality.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years escrow-related experience, strong communication, and a customer-first mindset. You will work with MS Office and various software to deliver an exceptional client experience on-site at our San Antonio branch.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of escrow-related experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with both our internal team and external customers.
• Problem solver with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and curiosity.
• Thrives in a team environment delivering beyond customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the escrow process, opening orders and inputting closing statement information.
• Prepare documents for closing and manage disbursement and follow-up.
• Communicate regularly with customers during the escrow process.
• Interpret escrow-related agreements as they relate to closings.
• Use multiple technologies to enable escrow transactions and provide a superior customer experience.
• Greet and direct visitors in office and manage calls.
