Job summary

Wyoming Child and Family Development in Cheyenne seeks a Family Advocate / Application and Eligibility Specialist to support ERSEA processes. You will conduct family interviews, collect documentation, verify eligibility for Head Start programs, and coordinate enrollment with center staff.

Data entry in ChildPlus and collaboration with program staff are essential. You will participate in family engagement activities, maintain confidentiality, and ensure timely enrollment while upholding WCFD

Qualifications

• Must align with Head Start/Early Head Start eligibility, enrollment, or application processes.
• Experience with family engagement and enrollment preferred.
• Knowledge of confidentiality and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for families during the application and eligibility process.
• Conduct interviews to gather information and determine eligibility for Head Start programs.
• Identify the simplest documentation to verify age, income, and eligibility.
• Review applications for completeness and accuracy with the Eligibility Specialist.
• Assist with enrollment scheduling and documentation completion.
• Enter and maintain family and eligibility data in ChildPlus, ensuring confidentiality.
• Collaborate with Family Advocates, Center staff, and program personnel for coordinated services.
• Attend family engagement activities and promote Head Start participation.
