Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to support the PD business by driving the global ERP transformation adoption and ongoing support. The ideal candidate will be based in the greater Columbus area with a hybrid schedule, coming into the Dublin, OH office one day a week, and is open to remote candidates in Eastern and Central time zones.

This role contributes to General Accounting by leading post-go-live support, coordinating close processes, and implementing controls to detect

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years corporate or public accounting experience.
• Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
• CPA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead post-go-live accounting support and issue resolution during Hypercare.
• Coordinate close process reviews and validation across key areas, including intercompany.
• Develop monitoring controls to detect errors and support remediation.
• Partner with Accounting, IT, and Project teams to resolve ERP/process issues.
• Establish long-term controls and detective reporting to mitigate risk.
• Support accounting operations and special projects with financial analyses and reconciliations.
• Build knowledge of processes and ERP functionality to assess impacts and prepare journal entries.
• Own deliverables from start to finish with thorough documentation.
• Communicate status, manage priorities, meet deadlines, and escalate risks.
• Ensure SOX compliance and assist with other PD Accounting close duties.
