Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks an Accounting Supervisor to support the PD business through ERP transformation and post-go-live support, with a hybrid schedule in Dublin, OH and remote options for Eastern/Central time zones.

You will lead close processes, develop controls, and collaborate with Accounting, IT, and Project teams to resolve ERP issues, ensure SOX compliance, and drive process improvements across intercompany and core accounting operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years corporate and/or public accounting experience in related field.
• Prior supervisory experience.
• CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead post-go-live accounting support and issue resolution during Hypercare period.
• Coordinate close process reviews and validation across accounting areas, including intercompany.
• Develop monitoring controls to detect errors and support remediation.
• Partner with Accounting, IT, and Project teams to track ERP and process-related issues to completion.
• Establish sustainable long-term controls and detective reporting to mitigate risk.
• Support accounting operations and special projects with PD Accounting teams to enhance efficiency and internal controls.
• Build deep knowledge of accounting processes and ERP functionality to draft complex future-state journal entries.
• Own deliverables from start to finish, including data gathering, analysis, and workpaper prep.
• Proactively manage priorities and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and ensure SOX compliance.
• Other PD Accounting close duties as needed.
