Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to support the PD business through the adoption and ongoing support of a global ERP transformation. The role will drive accounting operations, close processes, and control integrity within a hybrid work model.

The ideal candidate will be based in the greater Columbus area, with a Dublin, OH, office presence one day per week, or remote for candidates in Eastern and Central time zones. Strong supervisory experience and SOX knowledge are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required or equivalent
• 3+ years corporate or public accounting experience
• Prior supervisory experience preferred
• CPA preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead post-go-live accounting support and issue resolution during Hypercare
• Coordinate close process reviews and validation activities across intercompany and other key areas
• Develop monitoring controls to detect errors and support remediation
• Partner with Accounting, IT and Project teams to resolve ERP and process issues to completion
• Establish long-term controls and detective reporting to mitigate risk and improve data integrity
• Support accounting operations and special projects with PD Accounting teams
• Build knowledge of accounting processes and ERP functionality for future-state journal entries
