Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to support a global ERP transformation and drive successful adoption across the PD business. The role is based near Columbus, with a hybrid schedule in the Dublin, OH office and remote options for Eastern/Central time zones.

The ideal candidate has supervisory accounting experience, CPA preferred, and the ability to coordinate close processes, implement controls, and partner with IT and project teams to resolve ERP issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field or equivalent
• 3+ years corporate or public accounting experience
• Prior supervisory experience
• CPA preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead post-go-live accounting support and issue resolution during the Hypercare period
• Coordinate close process reviews and validation activities across key accounting areas including intercompany
• Develop and execute monitoring controls to detect errors and support timely remediation
• Partner with Accounting, IT, and Project teams to track and resolve ERP and process issues through completion
• Establish long-term controls and detective reporting to mitigate risk and improve data integrity
• Support accounting operations and special projects with PD Accounting teams to enhance efficiency and internal controls
• Build deep knowledge of accounting processes and ERP functionality to assess impacts and prepare complex future-state journals
• Own assigned deliverables from start to finish with thorough documentation and workpapers
• Proactively manage priorities and communicate status, risks, and deadlines to stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with SOX and related policies
