Job summary

City of San Marcos, TX is seeking an ERP and Application Administrator to manage the organization’s ERP system across all units. You will analyze data, troubleshoot functionality, and resolve user issues to support operations and improve system efficiency.

The role drives process improvements by evaluating business needs and recommending technology and workflow enhancements that align with organizational goals. On-site work and ongoing IT collaboration are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science or similar field; equivalent combinations may be considered.
• Three years of progressive experience as a system analyst or administrator.
• Experience with Windows OS, basic PC support, networking, and backups.

Responsibilities

• Administers and supports the ERP system to ensure reliable functionality and process improvements.
• Troubleshoots issues and communicates status updates to stakeholders.
• Performs workflow and process analysis to identify efficiency improvements.
• Manages configuration, security settings, integrations, and RBAC for data integrity and compliance.
• Creates and maintains user accounts and permissions for proper access.
• Collaborates with management to assess needs and recommend technology solutions.
• Evaluates defects, monitors performance, and implements improvements.
• Researches and tests software upgrades and patches; ensures stability.
