Job summary

EVAPCO, Inc. is seeking an ERP Support Specialist to serve as a key liaison between business operations and ERP technology. The role supports ERP users, maintains data integrity, documents processes, and drives continuous improvement across manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, finance and admin.

This on-site position provides direct exposure to core business functions and opportunities to contribute to standardization and process optimization within a leading heat transfer solutions company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business, supply chain, IS, engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to learn ERP functionality quickly.
• Ability to document complex information clearly and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary ERP support contact for users.
• Troubleshoot transactions, reports, and master data issues.
• Provide user guidance, training, and best practices.
• Coordinate issue resolution with business teams and IT.
• Develop end-to-end understanding of business processes.
• Observe workflows and build stakeholder relationships.
• Identify opportunities for process standardization and improvement.
• Evaluate process interactions with ERP functionality.
• Create and maintain SOPs, diagrams, and process docs.
• Develop user guides and training materials.
• Document ERP configurations and business rules.
• Keep documentation accurate and current.

Position Summary

The ERP Support Specialist serves as a key liaison between business operations and ERP technology. This position is responsible for supporting ERP users, maintaining data integrity, documenting business processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. This on-site role provides direct exposure to manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, finance, and administrative processes.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field


• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills


• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities


• Ability to learn business processes and ERP functionality quickly


• Demonstrated ability to document complex information clearly and accurately

Desired Qualifications

• ERP experience (Sage 100, SAP, Oracle, Business Central, Infor, or similar)


• Manufacturing environment experience


• Process mapping, SOP development, and training documentation experience


• Lean Six Sigma, APICS, or continuous improvement training


• Reporting and data analysis experience

ERP Support & User Assistance

• Serve as the primary point of contact for ERP support requests


• Troubleshoot transactions, reports, and master data issues


• Provide user guidance, training, and best practices


• Coordinate issue resolution with business teams and IT

Business Process Understanding

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end business processes


• Observe workflows firsthand and build stakeholder relationships


• Identify opportunities for process standardization and improvement


• Evaluate process interactions with ERP functionality

Documentation & Knowledge Management

• Create and maintain SOPs, workflow diagrams, and process documentation


• Develop user guides, training materials, and reference documents


• Document ERP configurations and business rules


• Ensure documentation remains accurate and current
