Job summary

Excellus BCBS offers a 10-week paid Summer College Internship Program for undergraduate and graduate students. Interns work on meaningful ERP strategy and optimization projects, with mentorship and development workshops to bridge school and corporate life.

Interns gain exposure to end-to-end ERP operations across Finance, Supply Chain, HR, and other functions, performing duties from process mapping to testing and reporting. Housing is not provided; workweek up to 40 hours, starting in June.

Qualifications

• Majors include Human Resources, Finance, Supply Chain, Business & Management or similar.
• Experience with planning/strategy and collaboration.
• Must be in good academic standing; enrolled full-time in undergrad/grad.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to interact with all levels.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving and prioritization skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using a desktop computer in a professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in ERP strategy, project planning and stakeholder meetings.
• Document current-state processes and map future-state workflows for optimization.
• Assist in requirements gathering and document stakeholder feedback.
• Maintain project documentation, process flows, user guides, and change materials.
• Create reports, dashboards, and presentations for leaders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess ERP impacts.
• Support testing by documenting test scenarios and tracking defects.
• Participate in change management to improve user adoption and training.
