Job summary

thyssenkrupp Bilstein of America, Inc. is seeking a Customer Demand Analyst to coordinate activities from new customer relationships through delivery of finished goods.

You will act as the primary customer contact, ensuring accurate orders, managing demand fluctuations, and communicating effectively with Master Planners, Logistics, and Sales. You will monitor portals, support inventories, and help optimize production planning while maintaining strong relationships across departments and ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
• Strong analytical skills to manage large data sets and translate into actionable information.
• Independent and organized work style with ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Experience with large ERP systems (SAP preferred) and understanding of MRP.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze and solve difficult issues in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the first point of and primary contact for all customers, understanding and responding to requirements.
• Review incoming orders for accuracy and create new order items as needed.
• Coordinate with Master Planners, Operations, Sales and Logistics to address issues.
• Maintain logs of order idiosyncrasies and communicate with relevant teams.
• Monitor customer portals and prioritize orders for timely delivery.
• Respond to inquiries, offer alternatives, and strive for first-call resolution.
• Collaborate with Master Schedulers on production priorities.
• Monitor delivery due lists and communicate with shipping teams.
• Support inventory management by reporting status and recommending adjustments.
• Prepare clear reports and maintain data files for shipments, invoices, and barcodes.
