Job summary

United Precision Corporation seeks a Production Planner/Expeditor to optimize production processes, manage material flow, and ensure on-time delivery. You will coordinate with Engineering, Purchasing, QA, and Production to resolve shortages, schedule changes, and supply chain constraints.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree, 0–2 years in production planning with ERP systems; SAP experience preferred; familiarity with AS9100/ISO9001 and ITAR compliance is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Business, Supply Chain Management, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 2 years’ production planning experience within an ERP system.
• 0 to 2 years’ relevant manufacturing industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Create and monitor Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to manage the conversion and pipeline of forecasted to production orders (PDOs).
• Generate SAP forecasts and reports by product groups and project codes to better assess demand.
• Optimize production workflow to improve efficiency, reduce lead times, and minimize costs.
• Coordinate inter-department handoffs to ensure seamless material/product transfers and PDO tracking.
