Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a Cost Accounting Process Analyst to support its Business Modernization Program as part of a major ERP transformation.

The role sits in the ERP team, focusing on cost accounting within SAP and cross-functional governance, with a goal of a scalable global template adaptable to site sizes and complexities. The Cost Accounting Process Analyst collaborates with Finance, IT, and site teams, contributing from discovery through post-go-live stabilization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years in Cost Accounting, Finance, or SAP Controlling, preferably in manufacturing or aerospace.
• Experience with SAP cost accounting, FI/CO integration, cost centers, internal orders, and WBS costing.
• Understanding of standard cost, actual costing, variances, and COGS reconciliation.
• Knowledge of Aerospace & Defense business operations and government costing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Business Process Modernization: document requirements and create process blueprints.
• Contribute to global Cost Accounting template design across SAP S/4HANA Finance/Controlling.
• Develop end-to-end processes for Cost Accounting and associated systems to boost efficiency.
• Participate in testing, deployments, and readiness activities for ERP changes.
• Coordinate with Finance, IT, Operations, and site SMEs; manage KPIs and progress.
• Assist with data cleansing, training materials, and go-live stabilization.
