Sr. Cost Accountant – Contract

Job Title: Sr. Cost Accountant – Contract

Location: Tampa, FL

Work Schedule: Hybrid – 4 days on site, 1 day WFH.

Contract Length: ASAP to December 31, 2027

Reason: Internal SAP ERP implementation project.

Salary: $45–$57 per hour.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• 2 years of SAP experience.
• Cost accounting experience.
• SOX knowledge.
• Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP).
• Bachelor's degree.
• Nice-to-Have: Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

Corporate Accounting Manager – Cost

Job Title: Corporate Accounting Manager – Cost.

Location: Tampa, FL.

Work Schedule: Hybrid – 4 days on site, 1 day WFH.

Contract Length: ASAP to December 31, 2027.

Reason: Internal SAP ERP implementation project.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly cost close process, including inventory and COGS analysis, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Maintain and enhance costing methodologies, standard costs, and ERP (SAP) cost structures.
• Analyze manufacturing variances (labor, overhead, materials) and provide actionable insights.
• Partner with operations and FP&A on budgeting, forecasting, and cost modeling.
• Ensure accuracy of inventory valuation, internal controls, and SOX compliance.
• Support internal and external audits and collaborate cross‑functionally to resolve issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of accounting experience, heavily focused on costing.
• Experience managing direct reports.
• Proficiency in SAP.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with PowerBI and SQL.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Nice-to-Have: Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
