Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking an Order Entry Specialist in Addison, IL to accurately enter customer orders and manage ERP data for smooth order flow in a busy manufacturing environment.

You will generate shipping documents, create purchase orders, and support invoicing while coordinating with vendors to ensure timely order processing and payment follow-up. On-site work, standard hours apply.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in order entry, order processing, or related admin role.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Excellent organization and time management in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and learn new systems.
• Experience with ERP systems is required.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer orders accurately and efficiently as the primary duty.
• Review orders for completeness, pricing, and delivery requirements.
• Input and maintain data in Epicor ERP.
• Generate bills of lading and shipping docs.
• Create and maintain purchase orders.
• Coordinate with vendors for pricing and status updates.
• Process invoices and assist with follow‑ups on payments.
• Communicate order status and inventory needs with internal teams.
