Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope in Terrell, TX is seeking a customer service specialist to own the order flow from receipt to delivery and to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams. You will ensure commitments are met and orders are entered into the ERP accurately.

You will review orders for accuracy, release to production, maintain updates, and collaborate with scheduling to address issues using EPICS and Epicor ERP. Strong communication and problem solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Two years of customer service experience.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities with analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment and prioritize deadlines.
• Excellent listening and communication skills for order completion.
• Interest in improving processes within the department.
• Willingness to assist the team as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop meaningful relationships with internal and external customers.
• Be the main point of contact for customers and manage communications to meet commitments.
• Receive and accurately process orders and enter them into ERP.
• Review sales orders for accuracy and release to production for scheduling.
• Maintain orders and process changes as needed.
• Provide timely order status updates to customers.
• Identify and resolve issues before schedules are impacted.
• Collaborate with scheduling to address scheduling issues.
• Work with EPICS and EPICOR ERP systems.
