Job summary

TAS Energy Inc. is seeking a Purchasing Expeditor to expedite equipment, parts, and services for our engineered modular solutions. You will maintain supplier communications, manage BOMs against POs, and support ERP/MRP-driven workflows to keep material flow uninterrupted.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in purchasing/expediting, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with ERP systems like Infor LN and Excel. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in purchasing/expediting in a custom engineered manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of general manufacturing practices, policies and processes.
• APICS CPIM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain frequent communication with suppliers from order placement to receipt to ensure quality and schedule are met.
• Develop and monitor supplier recovery plans for quality issues or schedule delays.
• Communicate risks and changes of supplier orders to TAS personnel.
• Solicit and review supplier quotations as necessary.
• Review BOMs to planned orders and issued POs, coordinating with ERP/MRP processes.
