Job summary

PowerToFly is seeking a Pre‑sales Solution Engineer for the DELMIAWORKS team. The role focuses on demonstrating ERP software to manufacturing clients and crafting tailored demonstrations to address prospect requirements.

Responsibilities include delivering product demos, responding to technical inquiries, developing POC demonstrations, and translating customer needs into actionable technical specs for deployment, while collaborating with sales and product teams. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 3–5 years in a pre-sales or technical sales role (ERP/MES/MOM/WMS/QMS).
• Experience working with manufacturing companies and understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Experience with ERP systems and ability to present technical demonstrations.
• Strong communication, presentation, and CRM proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales to understand prospect requirements and develop tailored solutions.
• Conduct in‑depth product demonstrations and presentations showcasing ERP capabilities.
• Respond to technical inquiries from prospects and customers with clear explanations.
• Develop and deliver POC demonstrations to validate proposed solutions.
• Translate customer needs into technical requirements for development and implementation.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including presentations and analyses.
• Provide training and support to the sales team on product features.
• Work with product management and development teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
• Provide feedback from the field to influence product development.
• Collaborate with project managers to create accurate scopes of work for implementation.
