Job summary

Cecil College is seeking an Applications Analyst to support and enhance enterprise software across the Registrar's Office, Student Services, and Fiscal/Administrative Services. You will manage ERP systems (Colleague) and integrations, configure upgrades, optimize workflows, and provide end-user support and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; combination of education, certifications, and related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Two years of relevant experience and understanding of data and relational databases with ability to write simple SQL commands.
• Experience working with Colleague or related ERP systems in higher education.
• Familiarity with ITIL, FERPA, and GLBA; experience in higher education; web development tools such as JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, and HTML; strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs administration of ERP and other applications; config, upgrades, data refresh clones, testing, provisioning and security roles.
• Researches and resolves day-to-day operating issues affecting processing services.
• Supports user account management, including Active Directory integration.
• Develops expertise in business processes and ERP content areas; provides users with liaison and technical support.
• Partners with departments to translate workflows into system configurations and requirements.
• Analyzes, documents, and optimizes functional and technical processes tied to ERP and enterprise apps.
• Develops, manages, and supports integrations between ERP systems and third-party apps (e.g., room scheduling, bookstore).
• Supports LMS integration with the ERP system's ILP.
• Assists with administration of the reporting platform, including user provisioning, report folders, and data security.
• Coordinates and leads projects integrating internal and external software with the College's enterprise system.
• Documents workflow with charts and specifications; creates inputs/outputs/data structure docs.
• Identifies business processes and proposes automation solutions; disseminates best practices and trains staff.
• Ensures data extracted from repositories meets business needs; maintains functional documentation.
• Supports data governance and contributes to reporting initiatives across systems.
• Serves on college committees as directed by supervisor.
