Job summary

Gategroup seeks a motivated professional to coordinate ERP data management within the BOM, support the MRP process, and bridge purchasing and production to ensure data accuracy. This role focuses on ERP transactions, materials management, and strong collaboration with both purchasing and operations.

The position requires 2–5 years in purchasing, BOM experience, and ERP skills; you will manage master data changes, inventory activities, and ERP-related tasks in a fast-paced unit.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in a purchasing environment.
• Experience with a Bill of Material system.
• ERP data management experience preferred.
• Buying experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the materials substitution checking process.
• Generates the daily exception reports (MF47) and updates the system after scrub.
• Acts as unit’s point of contact for all master data changes and vendor requests.
• Coordinates ERP-related physical inventory activities and month-end activities.
• Submits ERP User ID requests for approval.
• Creates buyer IOR worksheets and reviews purchase price variance reports weekly.
• Cross-trains unit employees on ERP-related purchasing functions.
• Assists Unit Buyer with related purchasing tasks as assigned.
• Ensures forecast is run weekly and data accuracy is verified.
• Assists ERP receiver with daily materials transfers in ERP.
