Job summary

The Clearing House is seeking an ERM Manager to lead the design, development, and execution of enterprise risk management frameworks, focusing on risk appetite, assessments, KRIs, control testing, and issue management. The role partners across the organization to strengthen risk ownership and accountability.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in Enterprise/Operational Risk, strong analytical and communication skills, and a data-driven approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in risk management, business administration, computer science, engineering, finance, or a related area.
• 5+ years' experience in Enterprise or Operational Risk Management areas, preferably in the financial services industry.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with excellent organizational capabilities and a data-driven mindset.
• Ability and eagerness to develop a high-level understanding of existing and emerging technologies and their associated risks.
• Strong understanding of management objectives, risk appetite and tolerances, and the impact of changes on organizational risk profiles.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently while demonstrating collaboration, sound judgment, resourcefulness, innovation, and a results-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and execute enterprise risk management frameworks.
• Evolve risk appetite statements, tolerances, and supporting frameworks.
• Design and implement enhanced RCSA, issue management, and risk reporting workflows.
• Monitor and analyze risks across business units and report to risk committees and other stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain risk policies, procedures, standards, and other supporting documentation.
• Multi-task across tactical and strategic deliverables.
• Build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Learn new technologies and identify process improvements.
