ERLR Excellence: Employee Relations Strategist

Job summary

LyondellBasell is seeking an ERLR Excellence Consultant to support a designated business function and collaborate with the ERLR Director to standardize, maintain, and improve employee and labor relations processes across the organization.

You will triage non-hotline employee complaints, ensure consistent documentation, and partner with HR, Legal, and business leaders to strengthen ERLR practices and drive excellence across the company.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years' experience in Human Resources, Employee Relations, HR Operations, HR Compliance, or related HR field.
• Experience providing ER guidance, supporting investigations, advising on performance management, interpreting policies, and resolving concerns.
• Experience triaging employee complaints, managing intake, documenting case activity, and supporting case management.
• Experience developing or improving ERLR processes, procedures, tools, templates, or training materials to ensure consistency.
• Willingness to learn labor relations concepts and interpretation of labor agreements.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day ERLR support to an assigned function, partnering with leaders and stakeholders to address employee relations matters.
• Help triage non-hotline complaints, ensure intake, routing, documentation, tracking, and case management.
• Develop, standardize, maintain, and improve ERLR processes, procedures, tools, templates, and resources.
• Create and support ERLR training materials, job aids, playbooks, and resources for consistent application.
• Support workplace investigations, performance management, policy interpretation, and concern resolution with clear guidance and follow-up.
• Identify opportunities to simplify ERLR ways of working and implement practical improvements.
• Monitor ERLR data, trends, and case activity to identify gaps and training needs.
• Assist with rollout and adoption of ERLR processes across the organization.
