Job summary

Ascensus is seeking a Retirement Plan Consultant to serve as the primary contact for plan sponsors and financial advisors on ERISA compliance, plan design, and governmental reporting. The role involves client meetings via video or phone and requires advanced knowledge of 5500s, loans and distributions.

You will mentor coordinators, assist with plan design and document updates, and stay current with IRS/DOL regulations while delivering exceptional service and accurate reporting to clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree preferred.
• 3–5+ years ERISA experience in retirement industry.
• Experience evaluating financial data required.
• Strong Word, Excel and Outlook skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, exceptional customer service to plan sponsors and advisors.
• Communicate valuation reports, participant statements, and annual testing results to clients.
• Mentor Retirement Plan Coordinators to meet business targets and client obligations.
• Assist with plan design, document support, and ensuring IRS/DOL compliance deadlines.
