Job summary

Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) in Texas is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join the front lines of critical care. You’ll handle triage, treatments, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing, working closely with doctors to deliver gold-standard, compassionate care for pets and their families.

You’ll use your veterinary technician credentials (CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT), have 1+ year in an emergency or specialty setting, and thrive in a fast-paced environment that

Qualifications

• CVT/RVT/LVT license in state of practice is required
• 1+ year experience in veterinary technician role; emergency experience preferred
• Strong computer skills and EMR familiarity
• Able to lift up to 25 kg and stand for prolonged periods
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis

Responsibilities

• Triage and treat patients across emergencies and complex cases
• Provide nursing care, treatments, and emotional support through all stages
• Assist with anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care tasks
• Collaborate with doctors to plan and adjust patient care
• Utilize diagnostics, imaging, sampling, and central line/ultrasound techniques
