Job summary

VEG is seeking a part-time Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our fast-paced ER team, delivering gold-standard, emotionally intelligent care for both pets and their families. You’ll participate in triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing, collaborating with doctors and teammates to support patients on their most stressful days.

You should have AVMA-accredited training, state credentialing as a CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT, and 1+ year experience in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; AVMA-accredited program strongly preferred.
• Credentialed as a veterinary technician in the state of practice (CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT) with possible additional specialties.
• 1+ years in a veterinary technician role; emergency or specialty medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care, treatments, and emotional support from triage to discharge.
• Assist with diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Handle meds, IVs, CRIs, blood transfusions, and related procedures.
• Communicate effectively as part of a team to keep care flowing.
