Job summary

Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line ER team. You will handle a wide range of cases, from minor to highly complex emergencies, alongside doctors and peers to deliver gold-standard care and emotional support to clients.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years in veterinary tech, AVMA-accredited credentials, and comfort with fast-paced, noisy hospital environments. Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience as a veterinary technician, preferably in emergency or specialty medicine.
• CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT credential required in the practice state; VTS in ECC or anesthesia is a plus.
• AVMA-accredited program degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and treatments from triage to discharge.
• Perform diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Handle emergencies and communicate with doctors and team.
• Support pet parents with empathy during stressful moments.
• Utilize advanced techniques and equipment as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records and coordinate care.
