Job summary

Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) seeks a motivated veterinarian to participate in the six‑month New ER Doctor (NERD) program, transitioning into a VEG ER doctor after successful completion. You will train intensively, work alongside experienced VEG veterinarians, and gain hands‑on ER experience in a state‑of‑the‑art facility.

You must hold a DVM/VMD or equivalent and be a practicing veterinarian with a strong interest in emergency medicine.

Qualifications

• Passion for emergency veterinary medicine and patient care.
• Excellent communication with clients and team members.
• Willingness to learn and grow through hands-on training.

Responsibilities

• Work with VEG doctors on real ER cases with mentorship.
• Gain 3–4 shifts per week across days, swings, and nights.
• Learn VEG practices and client-focused care in an open hospital setting.
