Job summary

Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) is seeking newly hired ER doctors through our NERD program. You’ll work with experienced VEG clinicians on live ER cases, receiving hands-on training and regular feedback to develop confidence and expertise in emergency medicine.

During six months of immersive learning, you’ll participate in case discussions, CE sessions, and state-of-the-art facility training, with a path to full-time ER roles at VEG after successful completion.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree required.
• Strong interest in emergency medicine and customer-focused care.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Work side-by-side with VEG doctors on real ER cases with mentorship.
• Gain ER experience with 3–4 hospital shifts per week, including days, evenings, and nights.
• Engage in ongoing case discussions, literature reviews, and hands-on training.
