CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region Urgent and Emergency Care in Colorado seeks an RN to collaborate with the healthcare team to meet patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs with compassionate care. Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement.
• RN License in state of employment.
• Physical Requirements: Medium Work exert/lift up to 50 lbs. and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• One (1) year experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient's physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interview, review of medical records & clinical data.
• Develop and implement patient plan of care and observe outcomes in accordance with nursing standards and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate competency in therapeutic/diagnostic interventions including IVs, incision/wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collections.
• Maintain patient charts and records; document ongoing status, interventions, patient response and outcomes; use IT to communicate and support decision-making.
• Promote, advocate, and collaborate to protect health and safety and rights of each patient.
• Provide patient/family education through assessment of learning readiness, needs, and ability; provide teaching and evaluate effectiveness.
