Kaiser Permanente in Colorado seeks a skilled Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care across health promotion, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, safety compliance, and interprofessional collaboration within urgent care settings.

Responsibilities include triage, data collection, care planning, patient education, and coordinating care with physicians while adhering to state nursing practice standards.

Formación

• Minimum one (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• Minimum of one (1) year of clinical Registered Nurse experience in an Urgent care or equivalent within the last three (3) years Or three (3) years of clinical Registered Nurse experience within the last four (4) years.
• Graduate of board approved RN program and completed a minimum of 750 clock hours of faculty planned clinical experience and guided learning activities which required direct supervision by faculty, ANIP or preceptor.
• High School Diploma OR General Education Diploma (GED) required.
• Registered Nurse License (Colorado)
• Basic Life Support within 3 months of hire
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 3 months of hire
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 3 months of hire
• Demonstrated customer service skills, customer focus abilities and the ability to understand Kaiser Permanente customer needs.

Responsabilidades

• Known and comply with Kaiser Permanente quality, safety, and emergency policies and procedures; maintain patient safety and quality in all interactions.
• Evaluate health status through data collection and assessment.
• Analyze reports and records data to identify health care problems and create plans.
• Prioritize patients' needs and triage via in-person or telephone assessments.
• Provide health teaching and counseling to patients and families.
• Execute delegated medical functions per physician plan; administer intravenous therapy and other medications.
• Coordinate care; lead health care teams; advocate for patients.
• Refer patients to medical or community resources as needed.
