Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing and RN license required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• 1 year of experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs; observe and document outcomes.
• Develop and implement patient plans of care; collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate competency in therapeutic/diagnostic interventions (IVs, wound care, meds, catheterization, specimen collection).
• Maintain thorough, confidential patient charts; document status, interventions, and outcomes; use IT to support decisions.
• Promote and advocate for patient health, safety, and rights.
• Educate patients and families; assess learning readiness and evaluate teaching effectiveness.
