Job summary

CommonSpirit Health's St. Francis Hospital Interquest in Colorado Springs seeks a Registered Nurse to advance compassionate, high-quality patient care in a mission-driven setting.

You will assess and address physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, develop care plans with the team, and educate patients and families while documenting care and using IT systems to support decision-making and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Assessment of physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs
• Documentation of patient status, interventions, and outcomes
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary team to develop care plans
• Adherence to nursing standards and state Nurse Practice Act

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs through observation, interviews, and records to ensure optimal outcomes
• Develop and implement patient care plans with the interdisciplinary team
• Demonstrate competency in IV therapy, wound care, meds, catheterization, and specimen collection
• Maintain confidential patient charts and timely documentation using IT systems
• Advocate for patient safety, rights, and well-being
• Educate patients and families, assessing learning readiness and effectiveness of teaching
