Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Albuquerque is hiring a Lead Patient Support for PRESNow 24/7 Urgent and Emergency Care - Paseo. The role oversees patient access operations and partners with supervisors on weekends to ensure smooth registration processes in a high-stress ER environment.

You will train staff, manage queues, and respond to EPIC questions while coordinating with ER leadership to resolve issues and improve workflows.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of healthcare experience with provider interaction.
• Pass EPIC competency with 85% score.
• Familiarity with ICD10, CPT, and medical terminology.
• Strong communication and training abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations for patient access departments.
• Provide leadership coverage on weekends with supervisors.
• Organize workload and monitor queues to ensure completion.
• Train staff and cross-train across departments.
• Assist ER leadership to resolve issues and improve workflows.
• Maintain high level of customer service in a high-stress ER setting.
