Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel ER RN for a 13-week assignment in Washington, DC. This ER RN will deliver rapid-response, high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency department, triaging patients, administering medications, and collaborating with physicians and staff.

The position requires one year ER experience, current RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS/ENPC. Travel pay includes comprehensive benefits, first-day coverage, PTO after 1560 hours, and 24/7 recruiter support.

Qualifications

One year of recent ER RN experience.
Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
Current PALS (AHA / ARC) or ENPC Certification.

Responsibilities

Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on severity.
Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments per emergency nursing protocols.
Prepare equipment and aid physicians during emergency treatments and examinations.
Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout the ED visit.
Document patient conditions and interventions in EMR.
Take and monitor vital signs and respond to deviations.
Collaborate with physicians, specialists, paramedics and staff to ensure comprehensive care.
