Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the ED in Clinton, Maryland. The position is a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week, mainly night shifts, in a hospital emergency department. Required qualifications include 1 year of ER RN experience, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS or ENPC certifications.

Qualifications

• One year of ER RN experience.
• Valid RN license per state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current PALS or ENPC Certification.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival and prioritize care.
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments per approved techniques and protocols.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during emergency assessments and treatments.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout the ED stay.
