Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel ER RN for a 13-week assignment in Washington, DC. The RN will provide high-quality emergency care on a 12-hour night shift, triaging rapidly, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include 1 year of ER RN experience, valid RN license, and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS/ENPC certifications. Travel benefits and support are provided by Fusion Medical Staffing.

Qualifications

• One year of recent ER RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC Certification.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on severity.
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per emergency nursing protocols.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during procedures and examinations.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout their stay in the ED.
• Document nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
