Job summary

Rhode Island Hospital is seeking an experienced RN to directly care for patients in the emergency/ICU setting under the supervision of Nursing Leadership. Qualifications

• RN licensure in Rhode Island required.
• BSN preferred.
• CCRN certification preferred.
• Minimum three years of current adult critical care nursing experience in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care with supervision as needed.
• Lead and supervise nursing care activities; delegate to ancillary personnel.
• Collaborate with healthcare team, patient, family and community services for discharge planning.
• Identify educational needs and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Respond to emergencies (Code Blue, Rapid Response, Code Stroke) as delegated by Nursing Leadership.
