Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System in Columbus, OH is seeking a Staff RN for the Trauma II Emergency Department. The role requires three 12-hour day-late shifts weekly (noon–12:30am) with weekend/holiday rotation, and an Ohio RN license.

Qualifications

• Graduate from school of nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Ohio.
• For Casual RNs, 2 years of experience required.
• New graduate nurses with <1 year may join Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care, ensures patient safety, and promotes evidence-based practice.
• Assess and evaluate patient care, collaborate with patient/family to plan care.
• Communicate pertinent information to the team in a timely manner.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes per policy.
• Be responsible for care provided and documented by others as appropriate.
