Qualifications

• Graduate from nursing school.
• Current Ohio RN license.
• 2 years of experience for casual RNs.
• New grad nurses with <1 year may enroll in Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and maintain patient safety while promoting evidence-based practice.
• Assess and evaluate care for an assigned patient group; collaborate with patient and family to develop a care plan.
• Communicate pertinent information to the health care team in a timely manner; keep patient and family informed.
• Document assessments, interventions and outcomes accurately per standards and policies.
• Assume accountability for care provided by other licensed or unlicensed staff as appropriate.
