Job summary

St. Mary's Hospital - Kankakee is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Services department, full-time nights, 7p–7:30a, at 500 W Court St, Kankakee IL 60901. You will deliver safe patient care, coordinate with physicians, and guide patient/family education in telemetry.

Required: active state RN license, BLS, ALS, PALS/ENPC; BSN preferred; ECRN/MICN/ TNCC within specified timeframes. We offer competitive pay, a $10,000 sign-on bonus, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS certification on hire and maintained.
• ALS certification within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• PALS and/or ENPC within 60 days of hire and maintained.
• CEN certification preferred.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process in Telemetry.
• Direct patient/family teaching and coordinate with the care team.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians promptly and maintain privacy.
