Job summary

Aultman Health System is seeking an ER Technician to support the RN by collecting blood specimens, delivering samples to the lab, stocking supplies, and assisting with patient care. This full-time position involves day and afternoon shifts with every-other-weekend and holiday rotation.

Responsibilities include performing EKGs, Foley catheter removal under RN guidance, monitoring patients, documenting care in Cerner, and handling clerical tasks. Requires HS diploma and BLS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to perform basic computer tasks and learn hospital software.

Responsibilities

• Assists RN by obtaining blood specimens from patients for testing.
• Deliver lab specimens safely to the hospital lab and stock supplies.
• Assist with patient care under RN direction and maintain a clean environment.
• Transport patients as needed and perform clerical duties including phones and on-call lists.
