Job summary

Aultman Health Foundation is seeking an ER Technician to assist the RN by proactively obtaining blood specimens and ensuring safe delivery of lab specimens to the hospital lab. The role includes stocking supplies, supporting patient care, and maintaining a clean environment under RN supervision.

Responsibilities include performing EKGs, Foley removal, bladder scans, monitor setup, and Cerner documentation, along with clerical tasks such as answering phones and coordinating on-call lists.

Qualifications

• High School graduate
• BLS certification
• Punctual and reliable attendance
• Basic computer skills required

Responsibilities

• Supports other direct caregivers as needed under RN supervision
• Cleans equipment/utility room and stocks rooms
• Collects specimens and obtains blood glucose per procedures and physician orders
• Performs EKGs, Foley catheter removal, and bladder scans under RN guidance
• Places patient on monitor telemetry leads
• Documents care provided in Cerner
• Answering phones, paging physicians, and maintaining on-call lists
